Daily Teaching Schedule for Week 1
Each day’s lessons will be presented by both teachers, Waree and Dr. Bai.
✨ Teaching Method
This course combines theory, hands-on practice, and learning through receiving. All techniques will be demonstrated by Waree and Dr. Bai before students practice on each other under close, supportive guidance. Each participant will have opportunities to both give and receive treatments to deepen their embodied understanding.
On the first day, Waree will open the class, introducing the theory and fundamental understanding of traditional Thai massage. She will then lead into Dr. Bai’s therapeutic approach to symptom relief, while Dr. Bai observes closely, supervises the process, and takes time to connect personally with each student.
From Day 2 to Day 5, Dr. Bai will lead the teaching, with Waree translating and adding explanations to make the content easier for international students to understand. As a traditional Thai medicine doctor, Dr. Bai speaks only Thai, and some specialized terms may be difficult to grasp. Waree, as his student who has completed all of his courses in traditional Thai medicine, takes on this role in her own unique way—drawing on more than 15 years of experience as both a massage therapist and a teacher.
